Woodlands Brook Chardonnay

This is a great wine, and a stunning example of the potential of our close planted Chardonnay plot at Woodlands Brook.

Following ferment the wine remained in oak (300L Hogs Heads, S00L Puncheons , and a Foudre) for 10 months , 25% of which being new.

The colour is bright , pale straw. Aromas of white peach , orange blossom and apricot flare on the nose. Some fine French oak and flinty ferment notes enhance and seduce .

The palate has a Lovely entry, Leading to a full basket of orchard fruits. This wine carries the weight of the fruit without being heavy, truly dancing on the palate , the bright acidity balancing . The finish Lingers with toasted almonds and freshly baked brioche .
