The vineyard boasts three distinct blocks of Pinot Noir, each hand-harvested separately to capture their unique characters. Despite the compact 10-acre size, these blocks often ripen up to two weeks apart, offering a diverse palette of flavours. The mature block, with vines dating back to the early 1970s, contributes elegant savoury notes and fine tannins. The Front Block delivers a vibrant spiciness, while the Fruit Tree Block brings lush, generous fruit. Together, these elements are seamlessly blended to craft the signature Pinot Noir style for which Wantirna Estate is renowned.
