Vinos de Potrero Reserva Cabernet Franc

A quintessential Cabernet Franc from the lofty heights of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley, this wine beautifully highlights vibrant red fruits and herbaceous aromas. The region’s calcareous soils impart a distinctive chalky texture on the palate, seamlessly intertwined with whispers of tobacco, enriching the fruity and herbal layers. A perfect pairing for lacquered duck.

Vinification: Crafted traditionally in concrete vats, the process begins with a five-day maceration. Native yeasts drive fermentation at approximately 30°C, with extraction meticulously guided by regular tastings to ensure balance and structure.

Aging: Aged for 12 months in a mix of first- and second-use French oak barrels, achieving an elegant integration of texture and flavour.
