Vinos de Potrero Malbec

This Malbec from Gualtallary showcases the pinnacle of the region’s expression, harmonizing pure, vibrant fruit with the delicate floral and mineral nuances of its terroir. Fresh and effortlessly drinkable, it remains a wine of depth and honesty, offering layers of complexity. Despite the challenges of the vintage, lower-than-expected yields delivered exceptional quality.

Vinification: Crafted traditionally in concrete vats and eggs at around 30°C, the process begins with a five-day cold maceration. Indigenous yeasts initiate fermentation, followed by a carefully measured addition of cultured yeasts (15 g/Hl). Extraction is tailored to achieve a wine with outstanding structure and elegance.

Aging: Matured for 6 months in once- and twice-used oak barrels, allowing subtle oak integration while preserving the wine’s intrinsic character.
