About This Wine:

A welcome return after a stint on the sidelines. We were lucky with the amount of fruit that arrived this year - we take the entirety of Ricca Terra's tiny plantings of this variety - one of the very few active vineyards of Greco in Australia. Named Terra Cotta for the colour of the dirt that it's grown in, but now we've experimented with fermentation in our Amphora that we've knocked the dust off.

Phenolics and acidity stand as Greco's distinctive hallmarks, elevating this grape variety, typically employed for blending in Campania, into a wine of remarkable complexity and allure when subjected to extended skin contact. Fermented on skins for a duration of 21 days, the resulting tannin profile boasts a sublime finesse, providing a structured yet supple foundation for the wine. In terms of flavor, a vibrant array of tropical fruits dominates the palate - from luscious mango to exotic papaya and zesty blood orange. This concoction is nothing short of sensational, offering an exhilarating sensory experience that leaves a lasting impression.
