Tombacco Aglianico del Beneventano

100% Aglianico.

The traditional winemaking of Aglianico begins with daily pump-overs for the first 3-4 days post-harvest, followed by extended daily pumping until the alcoholic fermentation completes at 25°C. After fermentation, the wine undergoes décuvage, with the skins softly pressed to initiate malolactic fermentation. Post-fermentation, the wine is racked 2-3 times before aging in a mix of steel vats and 500-liter tonneaus. Finally, our enologist crafts the cuvée for bottling Aglianico I.G.T. Beneventano.

This wine boasts a clear, complex profile with delightful hints of cherry and red berries, enriched by pronounced vanilla and spice notes. It offers an excellent, elegant, and warm mouthfeel, with a sapid and full-bodied character. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a soft, pleasant sensation that invites another sip. Expect nuances of cherry, plum, and spice.
