The colour is medium to full red with a hint of purple on the rim. The bouquet boasts barbecued meat aromas, as well as smoky char-oak and toasted oak nuances. The palate is rounded and smooth, with ripe blackcurrant, silky tannins and roasted meat inflexions that blend well with the wine. There's a lot of savoury complexity here, due to the careful bottle aging. With subtle mint on the finish.
