Stoney Rise Holyman Project X Pinot Noir

Red cherries and spicy oak on the nose with some cassis and forest floor showing on the palate. The tannins are initially quite subtle but build in the mouth. Our usual structure and mouthfeel back this up, and help to give the wine its long finish. One to be put down if you can.

"100% whole bunch from a special part of the estate vineyard. No doubt X marks the spot. I’ll fetch my coat. Lots of bunchy spice, perfume, blackcurrant and boysenberry, a little char and toast. Very firm, plenty of graphite tannin and grip, discreet yet powerful, pencils and stony things, and a very very very long finish. Excellent. Coiled up.
