Small Victories Shiraz

The Small Victories ladies are back with a new batch of 2021 reds, including this Shiraz from their Elderton family property in Eden Valley. In the glass, the wine is an enticing deep, inky purple with scents of blackberry, black plum, and black cherry, as well as a rich note of dark chocolate and a trace of black pepper. The black fruits are full-bodied and luscious, with licorice and savoury cedar oak flavours from ageing in seasoned French oak. This is chewy, rich, and powerful, with fruit-driven length that lingers and wonderful dusty tannins. It's also delicious with Mongolian lamb stir-fry.
