Sidewood Sauvignon Blanc

The Adelaide Hills has established itself as the top destination for high-quality Australian Sauvignon Blanc, and it's easy to see why after tasting Sidewood's Single Vineyard Sauv. Sourced primarily from one of Australia’s finest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards. Yielded at under 10 mt per ha to ensure concentration of flavour and acidity, parcels were picked by individual rows from their Adelaide Hills estates over a two-week period ensuring optimum ripeness. Grapes were chilled in the winery before gentle pressing and fermentation using only free-run juice. Four months in the tank allowing extended lees contact. 

Aromas of citrus and tropical fruits mingle with complex, powerful flavours of lychee, kaffir lime, gooseberry, passionfruit, and lemon peel. Beautifully balanced, with a round mid-palate and a mellow, lingering aftertaste. A versatile wine that pairs nicely with shellfish, game, and spicy Asian cuisine. The texture is crisp and refreshing. The length of flavour is another distinguishing quality of this artisan rendition of the popular type.
