Settebello Coppe Clare Valley Shiraz

This range is inspired by the Italian card game Scopa which is played in the Mercuri household after lunch on special occasions. Three generations sit around the dining table coveting the most valued card Settebello or 'The Beautiful 7'. Traditional wine making techniques of open fermentation and cold soaking have been used to create this full bodied wine. After 21 months maturation in French oak, the palate shows complex layers of stewed plums and blackberry with a touch of spice.It finishes with well integrated oak and velvety tannins.
