SC Pannell Koomilya Tempranillo Touriga

Both varieties were hand-picked, gently crushed, and co-fermented without any additions or adjustments. After 15 days on the skins, they were pressed, settled in tank for 14 days, and then transferred to French oak vats and puncheons for malolactic fermentation. The wine was then matured in large oak vats before being bottle-aged for three years prior to release.

Aromas of blackberry, forest fruits, briar, iodine, cinnamon, clove, violets, and split redwood lead the charge onto the palate, introducing black cherry, satsuma plum, cherry blossom, allspice, and fresh bay leaves. This wine boasts a depth of flavor intertwined with supple tannins. A slick entry opens to an expansive back palate with delicate, pretty edges. The medium weight carries intensity through the middle of the palate, with notes of orange rind and cardamom chasing through to an energetic finish.
