Punt Road Pinot Noir

This wine bursts with notes of ripe raspberries, juicy strawberries, and a hint of spice. The vibrant red fruit flavours are complemented by delicate tannins, creating a refined and elegant profile. Crafted primarily from 30-year-old MV6 clone vines, with younger blocks adding depth and complexity, this wine undergoes a meticulous fermentation process—90% whole berries and 10% whole bunches. The wine is then gently pressed and aged in a mix of new (just 15%) and seasoned oak, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. The whole bunch component is kept separate, ensuring a unique character before blending. After 10 months, the wines are harmoniously blended and bottled without fining, preserving their purity and finesse.
