Polperro Mill Hill Chardonnay

Citrous flower, floral, some nougat, and a flavour reminiscent of sea spray are complex aromas. The orchard fruit and citrous are carried by a lovely tension and acid line on the tongue. Underlying all of this are flinty barrel characteristics, which are all removed by a lovely, revitalising drive.

The Mill Hill vineyard lies 270m above sea level, and is the highest and one of the more exposed sites in the region. This ensures a long ripening period which creates high levels of natural acidity which persist through to the wine.
