2013 Peregrine Ridge Limited Release Shiraz

Depending on the vintage, this wine is aged in French oak barrels for 17-23 months. This full-bodied wine type is made with a high amount of new wood (40-80%). The smell is typically of dark fruits and savoury wood, and the taste is rich, with notes of juicy, dark cherries and blackberries. Silky tannins underpin the wine character, which has a lengthy, mellow, savoury aftertaste. The Limited Release is an exquisite and finely balanced wine style that is excellent to taste young and has the structure to grow well into the future.
