Penderyn Hiraeth Single Malt Welsh Whisky 46% 700ml

The name Hiraeth comes from a Welsh word that is said to be rather tough to translate to English, but is similar to 'homesickness', 'nostalgia', and 'longing'. The single malt Welsh whisky was made with spirit from the distillery's pot stills, which were installed in 2014, and finished in ex-bourbon casks. Toffee apple and pear tart aromas, with a hint of almond pastry underneath. The palate is vanilla-rich, with a slow build of cinnamon and peppercorn, and a long milk chocolate finish.
