Honouring Athelstan Friend, who originally operated the Narkoojee property as a dairy farm, this wine is handpicked from estate vines and fermented with indigenous yeasts. Lively and expressive, it evolves gracefully over time. Bouquet: Mulberry, morello cherry, rhubarb, chocolate, violets, and spicy French oak. Flavour: Moyer plum, mulberry, scorched almond, and rich chocolate. Texture: Elegant and well-balanced, with fine tannins and a lingering finish.
