Mulline Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir is a masterful blend, crafted from 100% Pinot Noir sourced across Geelong’s diverse sub-regions. The final composition draws from four distinct vineyards: 60% Sutherlands Creek (Moorabool Valley), 25% Modewarre (Surf Coast), 11% Portarlington, and 4% Indented Head (both Bellarine Peninsula). Each parcel was vinified separately before aging in a mix of old and new French oak barriques and puncheons, with 15% new oak contributing to its nuanced profile. The blend harmoniously unites six clones—MV6, Abel, 777, 114, 115, and D2V5—with an average of 20% whole bunch fermentation adding complexity.

This Pinot Noir enchants with its alluring bouquet of bright red berries, wild cherry, white pepper, and a subtle earthy spice from the whole bunch influence. On the palate, it’s lively and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and a juicy, fruit-forward personality that makes it irresistibly drinkable and delightfully moreish.
