2021 Mount Mary Pinot Noir

This wine is a perfect example of what a classic Mount Mary Pinot noir tastes like. A touch of nougat, cranberries, stewed strawberry, and quince greets the nose. The palate runs smoothly from front to back and is silky and smooth. Cherry and strawberry tastes predominate, with hints of rhubarb and other root vegetables. 20% of the wine is aged in new oak barrels, giving the mid-palate a creamy buttered mushroom flavour. This wine has structure, length, and freshness thanks to the harmonious interaction of the tannins and acid.
