Marion Cabernet Sauvignon

Crafted from single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, this exceptional wine incorporates a unique twist with the addition of part appassimento (dried) grapes sourced from Veneto. Comprising 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, with appassimento grapes contributing 10 to 15% of the blend, it showcases a harmonious marriage of tradition and innovation.

The grapes destined for appassimento undergo a separate fermentation and aging process before being carefully blended with the rest of the wine. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine ages gracefully in barrels for approximately 36 months. A mere 10% is aged in small barrels (500 liters), while the majority matures in larger 3000-liter Slovenian oak vessels, ensuring optimal flavor development and complexity.

This distinctive creation offers a tantalizing fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Amarone styles. Bursting with juicy flavors of cassis, blackberry, and cedar, it captivates the palate with its luscious texture and mouth-filling richness.
