About This Wine:

Claude and Hervé lead Domaine Lucien Muzard, continuing a heritage spanning nine generations. Their stewardship extends over 16 hectares across Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Pommard, with roots tracing back to 1645. Since assuming control in 1995, the estate shifted from selling to négociants to bottling on-site. While red wine dominates production at 95%, white wines are steadily gaining esteem with each passing vintage.

With vines boasting nearly eight decades of history and employing 50% whole bunch vinification, this wine exudes a deep, dense, concentrated purple hue. Its bouquet is nothing short of excellent, revealing profound depths, predominantly characterized by ripe fruits. While hints of strawberries linger, it's the dominant presence of raspberries that steals the spotlight, accompanied by nuances of deep red cherries.

On the palate, it delivers a comprehensive experience, offering a delightful peppery crunch alongside well-integrated tannins and impressive length. This wine exemplifies sophistication and vibrancy, a testament to the artistry of its craft.
