Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon

Christian Auricht, a 32-year-old blacksmith, with his wife and four kids arrived in 1842 from Prussia. He relocated to the brand-new town of Langmeil and constructed a blacksmith shop, around which the village's commercial district flourished and now serves as the winery's aesthetic focal point.

The ironsmith has now given way to a new craftsman who has combined the traditional Barossa customs to create this magnificent wine. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, the unheralded star of Barossa wine, has been aged for over two years and has attained the structure, depth, and balance expected from this elite Australian grape-growing area.
