Josmeyer Pinot Gris Le Fromenteau

The Fromenteau, a former name for Pinot Gris, has a more earthy character. Its name conjures up grain fields at the end of the growing season. The nose is quite graceful. The fruit has an excellent level of clarity, and the mouthfeel is rich and well-balanced. It appears to be golden yellow at first glance, with amber reflections. Although the scent is typically not particularly intense, it has a wide range of fragrances that include smoky notes, underbrush, musk, mushrooms, dried fruits like apricots, honey, and beeswax.
