Imbue Distillery Angels Share Port Cask Single Malt Whisky 700ml

This pilsner grain-based whisky was matured for three years in 100-litre barrels that had previously held Aussie Tawny port. A wonderful, smooth, rounded mouthfeel and a good blend of fruity-malty tastes combine for a dram that's dangerously simple to consume. Finishing notes of vanilla and Turkish Delight emphasise the cask influence. 43% Alc./Vol. Aromas of old leather, licourice, roasted stone fruits, and oak. The palate delivers black walnut, brown butter, treacle, backed up with a finish of fruitcake spice and dry tannins.
