About This Wine:

Home Hill ‘Landslide’ Pinot Noir is a refined expression of cool-climate winemaking from Tasmania’s Huon Valley, named after a landslip that occurred on the estate decades ago. This wine captures the elegance and purity the region is known for, offering both charm and quiet complexity.

In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby hue. Aromatics are rich and inviting—dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg mingle with lifted florals and subtle earthiness. The palate is supple and layered, with ripe blackberry and boysenberry fruit sitting atop notes of forest floor and spice. Soft, fine-grained tannins provide gentle structure, while a savoury thread carries the wine to a persistent, graceful finish.

Made entirely from estate-grown fruit, the wine is matured for nine months in French oak, with only 2% new barrels—allowing the fruit to shine while adding depth and polish. While beautifully expressive in its youth, this Pinot Noir will reward careful cellaring for up to seven years.

A versatile food wine, it pairs effortlessly with dishes like roast duck, mushroom risotto or grilled salmon, echoing its earthy, nuanced character. A confident and quietly compelling expression of Tasmanian Pinot Noir.
