Holm Oak Estate Pinot Noir

Blessed with a long, temperate growing season, our fruit flourished, boasting an exquisite balance of acidity, tannin structure, and perfumed aromatics. Harvesting several clones of Pinot Noir from various blocks across our Estate vineyard spanned a two-week period, ensuring a diverse tapestry of flavors. Following destemming, the grapes underwent wild fermentation in small open-top fermenters, receiving gentle hand plunging up to four times daily. Once dry, the wine was pressed into oak barrels, where it underwent malolactic fermentation before returning for further maturation.

Impeccably balanced, showcasing delightful aromatics, vibrant fruit, and refined tannins. Dark cherry and strawberry notes dominate the nose, accented by earthy, spicy undertones. On the palate, the wine exhibits remarkable fruit intensity, buoyed by lively acidity and silky tannins, culminating in a truly captivating experience.
