Hentley Farm The Quintessential Shiraz Cabernet

Inn at Hentley Farm The 2018 Quintessential Shiraz Cabernet is a blend of 4 estate blocks, each with a unique top soil level, subsoil type, row orientation, and microclimate. They are all located on the western side of the creek. The subsurface varies in depth from fractured limestone to salt & pepper siltstone and bluestone, with the top soil being primarily a red clay loam. Every vine has its own roots from which to develop.
Aromas of cassis, balsamic, rosemary, thyme, and mint are present in this wine, along with undertones of black and white pepper. The smooth, exquisite tannins on the palate have a remarkable length and well-balanced oak.
