2018 Henschke Cyril Henschke Cabernet (Gift Box)

Rich garnet with a deep ruby colour. Anise, oregano, thyme, violets, and tobacco leaf are intertwined with the lovely rich smells of cassis, red currant, and mulberry. Layers of clean and bright black currant and plum are presented on the palate, and they are counterbalanced by traces of cedar and vanilla pod. A long, distinct, mouth-coating finish is provided by lively acidity and fine-grained tannins.
