Henschke Apple Tree Bench Shiraz Cabernet

Apple Tree Bench honours the farming heritage of Johann Christian Henschke, a Barossa pioneer who settled in the high country of the historic Eden Valley. The exceptional quality of the fruit enables the Henschke family to craft a limited-production, traditional Barossa blend of Shiraz and Cabernet.

In the glass, it reveals a deep crimson hue. The nose is graced with spicy aromas of Satsuma plums, blueberries, crushed mulberries, blackberries, and blackcurrants, elegantly complemented by savoury hints of cardamom, bay leaf, and licorice. The palate is rich and succulent, with an abundance of plum and blue and black berry fruits interwoven with black pepper, bay leaf, and anise. Plush layers of soft, supple tannins and a savoury thread of flavour provide a well-structured mid-palate and a long, refined finish.
