One of Australia’s oldest single malt aged whisky statements. First matured for 16 years in American oak, then a second maturation for 3 years in a French oak ex-liqueur cask. Bottled at cask strength, offering both power and poise. With attractive aromas of tropical, melon butterscotch, noble wood, caramelised date. It then eases onto a palate of orange hints, caramel, cinnamon spice. The overall finish is warm and comfortingly mellow denouement with an exceptional length.
