Glaetzer Amon-Ra Shiraz

Ben Glaetzer's passion for producing full-flavored, multilayered, strong wines that are yet elegant, sophisticated, and well balanced is exemplified by the renowned Amon-Ra Shiraz. According to Egyptian mythology, Amon-Ra is regarded as the supreme god. It was thought that the temple of Amon-Ra was the first temple to ever grow a monoculture vineyard to make wine for the temple's residents.

The eye on the front of the label is the potent Egyptian sign of protection known as the wedjat ("whole one"), also known as the all-seeing eye of Horus. Egyptians believed that touch, taste, hearing, sight, smell, and thought were the six senses, hence it is depicted as a figure with six components.
