Georges Deschamps Petit Chablis

The 'Georges Deschamps' label honors the third generation of the Vrignaud family, with the fifth-generation winemaker, Guillaume, at the helm. An independent producer in Chablis, the estate has been organic since 2009, earning certification in 2012.

This captivating Petit Chablis is crafted in the traditional, old-school manner, with organic grapes hand-picked and fermented using wild yeast to preserve the wine’s mineral-driven terroir. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no new oak and some fine lees work, it showcases a true expression of its origin.

Expect aromas and flavors of toffee apple, lime, and light quartz-milk minerality. The wine’s scent and taste are perfectly in sync, with a subtle lactic touch that feels loosely knit yet remarkably concentrated. The zingy finish provides a lively counterbalance.
