Under the stewardship of Dr Michael Peterkin of Pierro since 1998, Fire Gully's vineyard thrives as one of the most picturesque and unique sites on the Cape. With a philosophy of hands-on viticulture and meticulous winemaking, we transform premium fruit into beautifully balanced wines that capture the essence of their terroir. Each Fire Gully wine is handcrafted at our sister winery, Pierro, by a highly skilled and experienced team - resulting in a portfolio of classic Margaret River wines that speak of place, purity, and passion. Sourced from 20-30-year-old Shiraz vines, this Rose is cold-pressed and fermented in a mix of stainless steel and seasoned oak, followed by six months of maturation for added complexity. Recent vintages have been exceptional, and this release continues the streak. Brimming with fresh strawberry and raspberry notes, lifted by a delicate floral perfume of rose petals, it delivers a vibrant, dry palate with a subtle savoury finish. A beautifully structured Rose that shines with food or on its own.
