Under the stewardship of Dr Michael Peterkin of Pierro since 1998, Fire Gully's vineyard thrives as one of the most picturesque and unique sites on the Cape. With a philosophy of hands-on viticulture and meticulous winemaking, we transform premium fruit into beautifully balanced wines that capture the essence of their terroir. Each Fire Gully wine is handcrafted at our sister winery, Pierro, by a highly skilled and experienced team - resulting in a portfolio of classic Margaret River wines that speak of place, purity, and passion. Hand-picked and meticulously sorted, this Chardonnay is cold-pressed and barrel-fermented in seasoned French oak, spending ten months on lees with fortnightly stirring to enhance texture and depth. The result? One of Fire Gully's finest Chardonnays yet. A stellar vintage and precise winemaking have unlocked bright aromas of lime and quince paste, interwoven with subtle pear and pineapple notes. The palate is creamy yet refined, displaying exquisite balance and elegance - an outstanding example of Margaret River Chardonnay.
