Fattoria Le Fonti Toscana IGT Sangiovese

Fattoria Le Fonti is run by the Imberti family, who got their start in the woodworking industry. The family has produced grapes and olives on the lovely Tuscan hills for the past fifty years. However, not all of the estate is used for farming; a considerable section of it is preserved as natural woodland. The estate's youngest and most approachable wine. This 100% Sangiovese is fermented in cement and steel tanks before being matured in bottles for three months before release. A basic nose with a lot of red berries and a tinge of liquorice. The palate has a medium body and soft tannins. Serve with an antipasti platter.
