Dr Loosen Blue Slate Dry Riesling

This traditional Mosel dry Riesling is produced in the towns of Bernkastel, Graach, and Wehlen from colder, higher-elevation plots owned by Dr. Loosen. With its brilliant white peach fruit and the flowery, flinty minerality that is so distinctive of blue slate, the wine is clear and clean. A beautifully firm, delicate finish after a sharp mid-palate assault. This wine pairs beautifully with shellfish, spicy Asian food, and lighter fare. It also makes a chic aperitif.
