About This Wine:

This exceptional wine hails from parcels planted as far back as 1945, with additional vines from 1979 and 1995 sourced from the esteemed lieu-dits of La Platiere (1er cru) and Les Crenilles. La Platiere, situated in the northern reaches of Pommard, boasts chalky limestone-marl soil and a south-facing exposure, while Les Crenilles resides on shallow brown alluvial soil at a lower altitude near the village center.

This wine underwent vinification with 50% whole bunches and aging in 30% new oak sourced from esteemed cooperages such as Damy and Remond. Employing the chapeau immerge technique for gentle extraction, it presents delicate and precise tannins, imbuing the wine with a remarkable freshness and finesse. A spicy aromatic lift complements the wine's refined tannins, culminating in a truly vibrant expression.

This offering represents a remarkable value, showcasing mostly premier cru fruit at a village price point, with vines averaging over 50 years old. It's a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of its makers, offering an extraordinary experience at an accessible price.
