This wine is crafted entirely from the Muscat à Petit Grain grape variety. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested and sorted, then macerated in their juice for 4-5 days before fermentation to enhance aroma extraction, a common practice in the region. The wine is fortified with neutral 96% grape spirit to achieve 15% alcohol content. Domaine de Durban expertly balances alcohol and sweetness, with a consistent presence of balancing acidity. The residual sugar is 112g/l, aligning with the AOC's minimum requirement of 110g/l.

Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation in concrete tanks. The wine matures for a minimum of 6 months, extending up to 2 years, with gradual bottling intervals throughout the maturation period.
