Cyprien Arlaud Chablis Scritch

Sourced from the limestone-rich soils of Beine, Scritch by Cyprien Arlaud is a pure expression of Chardonnay, named after the crisp sound of chalk in tribute to the region’s terroir. Planted at an elevation of 350 metres, the vines thrive in clay-limestone and Exogyra marl, imparting striking minerality and precision to the wine.

Whole bunches undergo a gentle, long pressing before fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged on fine lees, with malolactic fermentation and gravity-fed bottling, the winemaking approach remains traditional and low-intervention. Maturation in seasoned barrels for several months lends a subtle, creamy texture, adding depth without overshadowing the wine’s vibrancy. The result is a refined, terroir-driven Chardonnay of remarkable purity and elegance.
