Crawford River Vineyard Series Rose

This wine is predominantly composed of Pinot Gris sourced from the Cobboboonee Vineyard in Heywood, complemented by a touch of Semillon. The Pinot Gris was left on the skins overnight before undergoing a gentle cremant cycle pressing, with the juice naturally fermented in a mix of stainless steel and old oak. The Semillon was whole-bunch pressed, settled in tank, and then naturally fermented in old oak. After fermentation, both wines were promptly removed from gross lees and spent about six weeks maturing on fine lees.

The wine is delicately perfumed with notes of apple blossom and macerated strawberries. The mid-palate is soft and creamy, with fresh cherry flavours and a refined mineral backbone. Its generous texture adds impressive length, while fresh acidity ensures a lively, delicious finish.
