Crawford River Strata Riesling

In this delicate vintage, the fruit was entirely whole-bunch-pressed, enhancing flavour extraction during pressing. The fermentation process combined both spontaneous and inoculated yeasts, predominantly in stainless steel, with a small portion aged in old oak to enrich the wine's texture and mouthfeel through lees interaction.

The wine is driven by citrus notes, particularly Meyer lemon and clementine, complemented by ginger spice, sherbet, and red apple skin, with a subtle hint of lime in the background. The palate is beautifully rounded, with soft, textural elements that defy the cool growing season, creating a seamless and supple experience. The finish is long and generous, with dried mountain herbs adding a savoury edge and vibrant freshness.
