Clandestine Vineyards Chardonnay

Aged for ten months in 25% new French oak barriques and 75% aged wood. A brilliant pale straw tone with touches of green around the borders and a watery tint. White peach and nectarine scents emerge from the glass, followed by notes of dried honey, crème brulee, with subtle gamey charactes. Fleshy nectarine and peach fruits have a pleasantly balanced feel on the palate, with mourish, dried honey, and vanillin spice flavours lurking behind. A medium bodied chardonnay that shy's away to dry finish with a refreshing creamy note.
