Babche Daimo's Syrah

Babche is a family-operated organic vineyard and farm nestled in Timboon, Southwest Victoria. This cool climate site, located along a clay and limestone escarpment with maritime influence, is dedicated to cultivating a dense planting of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cab Franc amidst a rich tapestry of flora and fauna.

Sourced from responsible Victorian growers committed to sustainable farming, the grape varieties are NASAA-certified organic and/or biodynamic. The fruit is handpicked, wild fermented, manually basket pressed, and gravity-fed into bottles. Our wines are unfined, unfiltered, and free from additives or preservatives.

Babche wines strive not for conformity, but to capture the unique nuances of each variety and its terroir.

Daimo's Syrah hails from Malakoff Vineyard in the Landsborough Valley, Pyrenees, offering aromas and flavours of dark fruit, charcuterie, and earth, with integrated tannins and a medium body.
