This meticulously crafted Bordeaux-style blend showcases a beautiful harmony of Wilyabrup-grown fruit, with each variety hand-picked in the cool morning hours to retain its finest attributes. Fermented in small-batch, temperature-controlled open fermenters, the wine undergoes meticulous plunging every three hours to achieve ideal extraction. Aged for 18 months in premium French oak barriques (20% new) before further maturation in bottle, the resulting wine bursts with raspberry, blackcurrant, and cassis, layered with notes of sweet violet, subtle leafy undertones, and delicate oak spice. The palate is richly textured, with silky tannins and an elegant, lingering finish, ensuring both immediate appeal and long-term cellaring potential. A hallmark of the estate since 1984.
