Arlewood Estate Chardonnay

Sourced from the Forest grove vineyard which provides outstanding fruit from this cooler clime. Gets a little treatment in the winery with a mix of 35% new and the remainder French oak. It stays in their for 10 months with regular lees stirring. A portion goes through malolactic fermentation, which was probably a necessity in this cooler vintage. Shas a spicy cashew citrus and white peach mix on the nose. The palate is intense and powerful but with a refined elegance. Minerally finish completes an excellent wine.
