Intense fruit-driven aromatics of ripe cherry, vanilla pod, exotic spice and aniseed. The palate is initially medium-bodied, but it opens up into a vast orchard of red berries. Perfectly placed tannins are submerged in the background, like polished stones in a river. Sorry, but this wine does inspire many wild descriptions. But I'll bet you'll find your own words for this brilliant red, when you try it. Simply mind-blowing.

Rob & Louise Mack have masterminded this juicy blend of Grenache, Mataro(Mouvedre) and Shiraz. The fruits are sourced from three separate parcels across McLaren Vale. The Grenache gives a red berry and cherry compote-laden palate. The Mataro & Shiraz adds black fruits, chocolate and fine, powdery tannins. Yes, you read it correctly it’s a GMS, as there’s a greater proportion of Mataro in the mix. Usually, this type of red blend is configured as the abbreviation GSM.
