2017 Marion Amarone della Valpolicella

Similar to the Valpolicella Superiore, this wine predominantly features Corvina and Corvinone grapes, complemented by Oseleta, Rondinella, and a touch of Molinara for color. However, what sets it apart is that 100% of the wine undergoes the appassimento method. Bunches are carefully selected, sorted, and placed in small plastic tubs for drying for 8-10 weeks. Following this, the wines are aged for 3 years in oak barrels. Just like the Valpolicella Superiore, only 10% of the wine is aged in small barrels (Tonneaux, 350 to 500 liters), while the remaining portion matures in 3000-liter Slovenian oak barrels.
