About This Wine:

Château Tronquoy-Lalande, situated in the heart of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, spans a 30-hectare vineyard with a history dating back to the 18th century. Acquired by Martin and Olivier Bouygues in 2006, this estate is one of the oldest in the region, named after its first owner, François Tronquoy, and the historic heathland, "La Lande," where the vineyard thrives.

This wine offers a bouquet that stands out for its elegance and refinement, blending red and black fruits with notes of cedar, iodine, and violets. The medium-bodied palate opens with a subtle ferrous note, and while the tannins are a touch drier than expected, the wine culminates in a complex, spicy finish that lingers with remarkable persistence.

37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 56% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc.
