About This Wine:

About 25% of the Mornington Peninsula, 25% of the Alpine Valleys, 25% of Mount Gambier, 15% of Henty, and 10% of Upper Goulburn Pinot Noir are combined to make The Cathedral. The wine displays vibrant red currant, pomegranate, raspberry, cherry pit, and rose petal flavours. More red fruits and cinnamon, mace, and clove flavours are present on the delicate, chewy palate. It is specific and well stated.

Bill Downie Wine

Bill clearly makes the best Pinot in Australia. The Cathedral is not his best wine, but as an entry level wine it gives all of us a chance to glimpse what a really good Pinot can be. Try the Bull Swamp.
